Stanford Concerto Competition

Every year, the Orchestral Studies Program selects a few of Stanford's top musicians to perform as soloists with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra and Stanford Philharmonia. This year, the competition took place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Dinkelspiel Auditorium, with the preliminary events for each musical division—Keyboard, Strings/Harp, and Winds/Percussion/Voice — having occurred on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The 2026 Concerto Competition took place in Dinkelspiel Auditorium on February 7, 2026.

Congratulations to all of the winners and participants for their outstanding playing.

Zachary Lin will perform Joel Love’s A Lyric Concerto, Solace with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra on May 8 and 9, 2026. At Stanford Philharmonia’s Spring Concert on May 15, 2026, Alex Tordjman will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor.All concerts take place in Bing Concert Hall.
